I Am Sabah Ali – An Entrepreneurial College Student’s Journey

Two years ago I was a normal person, a student who would go to class, work the part time job, then go out with friends and have fun on the weekend. I would be that girl who would study like crazy, get the good grades, and live to do what everyone else was doing.

I was a follower, I didn’t see the outside world of what it actually felt like to be a unique individual.

If you spoke with me two years ago, you would probably have noticed that I was an extremely shy person. You would never catch me doing something outside of the norm or doing something that was different because you weren’t taught to do that in school.

I would LIVE for the weekends.

Every Monday would be a drag as I would wake up in the morning, go to class, sit in a lecture hall for 45 minutes, and stare at the clock until it was over. I would get done with classes for the day, go to work, and then spend the rest of the day watching TV.

The weekend would roll around and it was time to celebrate for getting through the entire week. Then the new week would start and it would be the same drag all over again.

My life was average. Normal. Boring. That’s who I was.

So who am I now? I am Sabah Ali

An entrepreneur, bestselling author, podcast host, blogger, featured speaker, AND a college student.

Two years ago my life was changed when I met my mentor in college, Brandon T. Adams.

He showed me that there was way more to life then doing the exact same thing that everybody else was doing.

That if you wanted to follow what you loved to do, that you should do it without hesitation, that you didn’t need to ask anyone for permission to try something new and go against the crowd.

So that’s exactly what I did.

My entire life I had dreams of achieving big things, but I never had the motivation or inspiration to actually pursue them. Therefore, after meeting my mentor and a circle of people that inspired me to chase after my dreams while being in college, I successfully achieved numerous things that I set my mind out to do.

I founded my own podcast show, wrote a best selling book, spoke in front of 500 people, and am now teaching other college students that they are capable of doing so much more than just attending class.

Entering my last year of college is exhilarating because over the course of the past three years I learned so much about myself and what it truly means to go after what you believe in while still being in college.

If you want to be an entrepreneur and build your empire, most people say drop out and pursue it full time. Because if you are still in school then you aren’t ‘actually’ being proactive and following your passion.

Well I am proof that you can be doing what you are passionate about and attending college.

Because for one, by no means have I figured out exactly what I am going to do after I graduate.

Entrepreneurship is tough, it’s a rollercoaster and I haven’t mastered it yet, but I have found that it’s definitely possible to learn, network, and achieve great things and what better way to do all of that while being a student in college?

Therefore, in a couple of weeks I am going to enter my first last day of school ever and I want all of you guys to follow me throughout the journey of my LAST YEAR of school.

There’s going to be ups, downs, late nights, failures, successes, but most of all it’s going to be a fun ride!

Thank you for joining me on my journey!
